The Flight Simulation Laboratory has MATLAB and SMULINK software for stability and control analysis of aircraft, missiles, satellites, and spacecraft. Performance work can also be carried out like estimation of runway roll during take-off and landing with modelling of hazardous conditions. Stability analysis can be done through various techniques using poles and zeros of transfer functions. Manoeuvre performance can be worked out for given configurations. Flight Simulation is also possible through Simulink tool box. The laboratory is closely integrated with the courses in the field of aeronautical/aerospace engineering as well as with the related research activities.
