Guest Lecture (TITLE: Evolution of Generative AI)
The Guest speaker in his special address gave a clear idea about Generative AI and its tools. He provided an overview of AI, ML, and deep learning algorithms, and discussed the various tools used in generative AI. He also highlighted the growing job opportunities in industries associated with generative AI, ensuring that students gained a comprehensive understanding of the subject during the session.
workshop on 'GTM Database using python and machine learning'
The Department of Information Science and Engineering organized a workshop on “GTM Database using python and machine learning”, on 4th February 2023, at Smt. Rajalakshmi Jayaraman Seminar Hall. The event started at 9:30 am and concluded at 02:45 pm. 145 students from III semester of the Dept. of ISE and CSE (Data Science) attended in this event. Chief Guest Natarajan Murugadoss, Senior software engineer, SAG IT, Bangalore, inaugurated the event, and transferred his experiences in python coding and machine learning to the students.
Guest Lecture on ‘Data Science and Analysis.
The Department of Information Science & Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on 10th August 2019, at 10:30 am, in Seminar Hall 4, MVJCE. 110 students from the ISE Department attended the Guest Lecture. The main focus of this Guest Lecture was to create an awareness on the ‘Data Science Analytics’ domain, which is popular in all academia, business sectors, and research and development, to make effective decisions in day-to-day activities. Resource Speaker, Mr. Anand Gurumurthy began the lecture by explaining the existence of Data Science concepts in various fields.
Guest Lecture on ‘Recent Trends in Data Mining’
The Department of Information Science & Engineering, MVJCE organized a guest lecture on ‘ Recent Trends in Data Mining’ on 23rd March 2019 at 10:30 am in Smt. Rajalakshmi Jayaraman Seminar Hall, MVJCE. Total 142 students from Dept of ISE and CSE were present for the guest lecture. Resource Speaker Mr. Sripada Ravindranath, Senior Data Science Engineer, infoworks.io given a presentation on introduction of Data Mining , its significance, different Data Mining techniques, their applications and sample mining and data analytic tools.
Guest Lecture on ‘Application of Artificial Intelligence in Machine Learning’
The Department of Information Science Engineering conducted a Guest Lecture on ‘Application of Artificial Intelligence in Machine Learning’, on 24.09.2018 at Seminar Hall 4 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Students from all the semesters of the ISE Department attended the Guest Lecture. The Guest speaker was Ms. Hima Patel, Technical Lead for Enterprise IT, IBM, Bangalore. Students acquired an awareness on various application areas of Artificial Intelligence, its advantages, and disadvantages.
