An International Conference on “Design Innovation For 3C’s Compute, Communicate, and Control (ICDI3C) 2021” is jointly organized by the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering of MVJ College of Engineering on 11th & 12th June, 2021. The Conference acted as a forum to bring together researchers, scientists, academicians, practicing Engineers, and industry professionals to discuss innovative ideas and diverse topics on next generation technologies. This conference has become a common hub for the researchers, to exhibit their new research findings. It also helps in identify the cutting edge technological advancements revolutionizing the world. It seeks solutions for the research/industrial challenges/problems, and makes an avenue to develop networking with hundreds of professionals in the field Electrical, Electronics, communication and Computer Science.
Totally around 84 papers were received from various universities / colleges like IIT, NIT, and Central University and so on. The received paper has been reviewed through the scrutinizing committee & the reviewed details have been forwarded to the concern Author. After all process carried out totally 58 papers have been selected for presentation.
The International Conference comprised parallel paper presentations organized by the two branches. Each speaker was given 10 minutes to present, followed by 3-5 minutes for questions. The conference was structured to foster discussion between participants around the core themes
The Conference was launched at 09.30AM in virtual mode (WEBex) Dr P. Mahabaleswarappa, Principal, MVJ College of Engineering delivered the welcome address to the conference gathering. He conveyed the current scenario of Engineering Colleges and students education. He has registered his strong views about the scope of the conference. He expressed that this International conference will be a platform for Researchers, academicians and students to discuss about recent trends, challenges and advancements related to engineering fields, which will create an opportunity to focus on specific areas from their own perspective and experiences in this field.
Dr. Rathna G N, Principal Research Scientist, Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. She explained about the recent trends, growth, future scope, ongoing projects and research in the field of Engineering. In addition, she delivered her keynote address on the research topics. The inauguration ends at 11.15 A.M.
The session1 of ICDI3C-2021 was chaired by Dr. S J Sugumar & Dr.D.Jeevalakshmi Department of ECE, MVJ College of Engineering. 14 technical papers have been presented which includes the following areas: Machine learning, Digital Image Processing, Embedded Systems, Networking and Biometrics etc.
Dr. M. Brindha vice Principal, MVJ College of Engineering gave the second session introduction talk about the chief gust also she has registered her strong views about the scope of the conference.
Dr.Marcin Paprzycki, Professor, Systems Research, Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences, ul, Poland. He gave keynote speech about Introduction to Federated Learning At that time Researchers interaction was good. Through his way of presentation he made an impact in Federated Learning among student, Researchers and Academicians.
The session 2 of ICDI3C-2021 was chaired by Dr.S.Kanithan & Dr.D.Tamilarasi Department of ECE, MVJ College of Engineering. 14 technical papers have been presented which includes the following areas: Machine learning, Signal Processing, VLSI, Networking and Biometrics etc.
Dr. Subba Reddy B, Principal Research Scientist, High Voltage Laboratory, Dept. of Electrical Engg., Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He gave keynote speech about Smart Energy Management for a Typical Microgrid Indo UK joint collaboration project.

The valedictory function was arranged by 03.30 PM. Dr P. Mahabaleswarappa, presented the summary of the conference .Delegates from the various institutions have registered their valuable feedback. Prof. Soumya, delivered the vote of thanks. On behalf of the management, she expressed the sincere thanks to the Chief guest, the Principal, the Vice principal, Conference chair, teaching and non-teaching faculty, event management committee, students, delegates from various Engineering colleges for their excellent cooperation to make this conference a grand success. Finally, the programme ended with National anthem.
