Guest Lecture on Motivation Magic
The Department of Management Studies organized a guest lecture on Motivation Magic on 22nd September 2023.
Motivation is an internal state that propels individuals to engage in goal-directed behavior.
Dr. Ahila, the keynote speaker, talked to students about motivation and leadership skills. She explained what motivates people and how to use Maslow's hierarchy of motivation to motivate oneself. She also shared her own story of how she got motivated, even though she was from a humble background. She went on to share some examples of leadership qualities and motivational events in her current role as CEO of Daramic. A total of 72 students attended this guest lecture.
Outcome of the Event
Students gained knowledge and insights on motivation and leadership.
The students found the event interesting and helpful, and they were highly engaged with the guest speaker. Some of them had questions and received excellent answers from Dr. Ahila.
