Guest Lecture on Recent Trends in HR Management

The Chief guest, Mr. Paul David Vimal, spoke of the expectations of the corporate world for MBA students, the use of AI in various HR roles, and practical knowledge for interview preparation. He emphasized the value of KPI and KRA and goal-setting for professional advancement, drawing on his experiences spanning from his early career to his current position as head of HR.

He emphasized the value of having a professional resume and offered advice on how to write an outstanding one. Additionally, he went over the HR lifecycle and the major responsibilities of an HR manager.
Engaged the students and inspired by his excellent talk, Mr. Paul Vimal answered the questions about different facets of the hiring and selection process. HR Club in the Department of Management Studies organized the event. Ms. Divya Spoorthi Karanth and Ms. Suchitha did the master of ceremony.
