Inauguration of Inscribe Club and Animaze event

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an event entitled “Inauguration of Inscribe club and Animaze event”, on 17^th August 2023. The event was conducted in MV Jayaraman Auditorium. The event started at 1.30 pm and concluded at 4.00 pm. A total of 450 students from the 4^th semester of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering participated in this event.

Chief guest Mr. Anil T Chacko, Manager at Cape Gemini company and Mr. Kiran Babu, Head of computer science and engineering Department inaugurated the Club. Mr. Anil T Chacko spoke about the importance of upskilling and the qualities required to stand out among thousands of candidates for recruitment. Followed by an address by the HOD who inspired us by telling us about the various benefits that this club would grant.

The chief guest and HOD, The President and Secretary were invited to light the lamp and begin the ceremony.

The club president Dhanwand Krishna and the club secretary Kshama gave us insights on the motto, vision and mission of the club followed by the team leads sharing information about their respective teams' roles and activities within the club.

Subsequently, this marked the grand unveiling of the event ANIMAZE, with the esteemed presence of the chief guest, Mr. Anil T Chacko, and the Head of the Department, Mr. Kiran Babu, who jointly unveiled the spectacular event trailer of ANIMAZE.

The event was started with 3 rounds of anime quiz.

The quiz was conducted by the quiz masters Sivakumaran and Ananya N.

Rules:

There will be 10 easy-based questions which have to be answered in order to unlock a file for the second round.
The second round will be given with medium level questions and the fastest ones to complete the second round would be selected to the last round, that is round-3.
Final round would be a rapid fire round with the team scoring the highest points wins.

The initial round was the 'Key to Unlocking' round, wherein 10 questions were presented, and the initial letters of the answers to these questions served as the password to proceed to the subsequent round,

Round 2, was the 'Test of Speed,' where participants were required to swiftly submit answers to 15 questions with the utmost accuracy. The participant with the quickest and most accurate submissions would emerge as the winner.

While determining the top 10 teams, an airing of Gear 5 Awakening took place to entertain the participants, accompanied by crowd interactions.

Thereafter, the top 10 teams were invited to the stage for Round 3, during which 15 questions involving pictures, videos, and audio clips were presented.
