Light the Road with Renewable Energy
SPARK CLUB ACTIVITY
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized SPARK Club activity on 9th November 2021, at Seminar Hall 6. The event started at 12:30 pm. The 3rd, 5th and 7th Semester students of the EEE Department participated in this activity. The title of the activity was Light the Road with Renewable Energy. 12 groups competed, and the activity comprised of two rounds.
At 12.45 pm, the event was inaugurated by our beloved Principal, Dr. Mahabaleswarappa and Dr. K S Jayantha Former Principal of Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan. After the inauguration speech by the two guests, Round 1 started at 1.30 pm.
ROUND I: PRESENTATION, BASED ON THE TOPIC
In the first round, the teams gave presentations, based on the topic ‘Light the road with renewable energy’. Each team was given 15 minutes to present their idea. Based on the content in the presentation and innovation of the model, scores were given.
ROUND II: DEMO OF THE MODELS
In this round, the teams demonstrated their models, and based on the innovation in the model, two teams were selected as winners.

OUTCOME OF THE EVENT:
The students participated actively in the event. They were able to enhance their technical skills through this activity. It also helped them to learn about time management and team work.
