Smart Reminders for Daily Life
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, MVJCE, organized a SPARK Club activity on the topic ‘Smart Reminders for Daily Life’. The event, which started at 1:30 pm and concluded at 4:30 pm, was organized on 28th December 2022, at Smt. Rajalakshmi Seminar Hall. 3rd, 5th, and 7th Semester students from the EEE department, and 1st and 3rd Semester students from ECE and IOT departments participated in this activity.
At 1.30 pm, the event was inaugurated by our beloved Principal, Dr. Mahabaleswarappa and Mr. Sangeeth Kumar V, IoT EDGE Consultant, IBM, Bangalore. After the inauguration speech by the two guests, the first Round of the event started at 2.00 pm.
Round – 1: Each group presented the technical aspects, and innovation aspect in their work.
Round – 2: After the technical presentations, the students had to demonstrate their models. Based on their presentation and demonstration, and taking into consideration the innovation aspect, the Winner and Runner-up were selected.

IInd Place: Abhiram R Vishwakarma, Jason Anthony, Sowmya and Sudeeksha R – 1st Semester ECE
Outcome of the event:
This Club activitiy gave the following benefits to the students:
- Developed their problem-solving and creative thinking skills in automation.
- Gave them practical experience of project management.
- Helped them to gain practical knowledge on hardware design.
- Developed their program writing skills using IoT.
- Boosted their confidence, thinking capacity and technical skills, so that they can participate with confidence in future inter and Intra college technical events.
